My name is Ginger Leigh and I have been diagnosed with two different kinds of cancer. When I first came into AZBR’s care, they thought I just had allergies because of this spot on my tummy I wouldn’t quit scratching. It wasn’t long though before they received the bad news. AZBR wants to help me get through this rough time and live a long and happy life. I’ve already had surgery once, but I need another surgery to remove the remaining tumors. After that I will need regular checkups to make sure none of my skin cancer spots have returned.
The main worry at this time is a cancer called hemangiosarcoma. I’ve been tested to make sure this has not spread to any major organs and the good news is that it hasn’t. So, my prognosis is pretty good as long as I have this surgery soon. AZBR is asking for help with my medical bill. I know there have been lots of beagles lately that have needed surgery and AZBR wants to be there for them all.
